The Sawadee is a 35-foot-long classic cutter rigged sailing yacht that can accommodate up to six guests. It’s experienced and enthusiastic skipper and owner make it the perfect boat to learn to sail and all about Hong Kong’s maritime history. The boat’s Burmese teak hull, solid construction, and delicate restoration make it one of the most beautiful classic boats sailing Hong Kong’s waters today.
This yacht is all about experiences. Guests aboard the Sawadee can get involved with the sailing under the capable direction of its skipper and crew member and be ‘captain for the day’ or relax and take in the stunning scenery with a drink in hand. Guests can choose to bring their own picnic lunches or stop off at one of the many island restaurants for some delicious local seafood. Plot a course to a secluded cove for a post lunch swim or sit back and listen to the many stories about significant local features, landmarks, people, and their contribution to the history of Hong Kong.
The Sawadee offers special ''Start Crewing" charters for those who seriously want to begin sailing complete with on-board demonstrations and practice in boat handling, sailing skills, and terminology.
